Our Client is the leading global provider of financial data, news and analytics. Their services provide real-time and archived financial and market data, pricing, trading, news and communications tools in a single, integrated package to corporations, news organizations, financial and legal professionals and individuals globally.

The Equity Business group in New York is seeking highly motivated and experienced individual to be a part of our Core Equity product team. This is an exciting opportunity for Senior level individuals with a strong background in equity research, portfolio management or security analysis.

The main responsibilities of the qualified candidate will be to leverage their equity working experience from their Front Office backgrounds to develop cutting edge analytical products designed to provide better analytical capabilities for Equity Research Analysts, Portfolio Managers and other Equity security analysis professionals.

A successful candidate will be able to communicate effectively with our sales force and large client base to identify needs and opportunities. The ideal candidate will also possess strategic vision and have strong market knowledge and execution skills.

Qualifications:
• 7 or more years of experience as a Buy Side Analyst, Portfolio Manager, Investment Management (Equity focus) or Sell Side Analyst with buyside experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• MBA or CFA a plus
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong quantitative skills
• Understanding of equity fundamental analysis
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment
• Innovative thinker with realistic approach to Equity Markets
