Spreadsheet Developer is required by a leading investment bank to work within their Interest Rate Products area.The successful candidate will be charged with the development of trading spreadsheets used for derivatives trading and risk management. Projects will range from enhancements to improving control / efficiency in existing spreadsheets, development of new trading spreadsheets for new business initiatives and the implementation of newly developed in-house interfaces and technologies. The team also occasionally develop web based applications for the trading area using the latest Microsoft technologies. 
It is essential that you have solid Excel / VBA development experience in a financial institution and having dealt with advanced trading related spreadsheets and traders in a front office environment. You will be working closely with Fixed Income traders and their support groups (Quant teams, Product Control, Risk Management etc) to understand their requirements and develop solutions for them.
This is a growing area and in future there will be scope for project management and team lead responsibilities.
