Our client is one of the world's fastest growing investment banks.

Your Mission

-         You will work within a 2 staff Operations team in Luxembourg and you will report to the head of Equity Finance Middle Office in London

-         Liaison with Trader, Finance, Operations and co-ordination between Luxembourg and London.

-         Review trade bookings to ensure accuracy; ensure timely & accurate confirmations

-         Managing dispatch and return

-         Checking & resolving trade settlement issues

-         Support equities traders with trade excecution as required: booking new trades, set-up new counterparties, ensure credit lines & associated legal agreements in place

-         Review monthly equitites component of the financial statements produced by Equities finance

-         Maintain spreadsheet based transaction model, calculation business P/L & other key trade information

-         As required assist traders with managing cash funding

-         Subject to performance, the successful candidate may have the opportunity to take a trading role in due course

Your profile

-         3 to 5 years similar experience

-         experience of accounting & traded product P/L production

-         some knowledge of internatial or Luxembourg financial accounting standards would be useful

-         some familiarity with complex / non standard transactions would be helpful

-         broad experience of financial products and their practical applications

-         good user of Excel spreadsheet

-         Fluent in English, French or German is an advantage

-         Excellent organisation skills, ability to prioritize

-         Very business and customer focused, with a desire to provide the highest level of service

-         Committed-self starter, able to work on their own initiative

-         Willing to travel to London from time to time
